My name is Nancy and I have been a Family Child Care Provider since 1999.
Born and raised in Germany, I met my Husband in Germany while he was stationed there with the Military.

I moved to the USA in 1996 and started working in a preschool as a teacher.
Having one son already,  and always wanting more children , we decided to open a Family Childcare Home to raise our children at home while also supporting our growing Family.

We have 4 children and after our last one, we decided to move closer to Family . So that's how we ended up here in Tallahassee. Moving a big Family is not an easy task, especially if you are self employed in your own home and can't take the house with you. You need to find a house big enough that accommodates everything you need, for your own Family and taking care of other people's children.

It was not easy but we finally found what we were looking for! It took a while to get the Child Care Room set up, but we are finally able to open our Home and Hearts again to Children.

Having a Family Childcare Home, is a Family decision and everybody has to be on board. While my Husband has his Job outside of our home, he is always coming home to a full house and does not mind it at all. If  I need a hand, he plays with them and reads to them, or entertains them in any way that makes them giggle! They all love Mr. Jay!

I am registered with the Department of Children and Families in the State of Florida. (DCF #R02LE2133)
All Adults living in the household are fingerprinted and screened by the FBI and local Law Enforcement as required by the State of Florida.
Our Children, depending on age, are also screened by local Law Enforcement.
We are CPR & First Aid Certified. I also attended a Nutrition class, to make sure your growing Child gets the best nutrition it needs for growth and development.
